AMERICA’S RESPONSIBILITY

10:55:33 pm, by ARMENPAC, Categories: ARMENPAC Activists

America was created to be a constitutional republic in 1776, which resulted in a peaceful and tranquil nation. Today, America is being used as a tool of those who wish to create their one-world empire, resulting in the destruction of nations and cultures. Extreme hatred of America has been created worldwide. It is financially bankrupt to a point where it could lose its sovereignty. Its contaminated culture has been turned into a morass. Invasion of illegal masses are inundating, while its traditional strength (middle class) is disintegrating with the creation of one-worldism, and debilitating taxation.

It is not America’s responsibility to engross itself into the subject of the Armenian Genocide of 1915, which really did happen, or the holocaust … of 6 million Jews, the apartheid in South Africa, the genocide in Darfur, or any other unconstitutional … world tragedies of history that America has been drawn into for the last hundred years.

There are those who care less about the future of America. They have used America for their own personal national interests for many years. That is not what the Armenian people are about.

But it was, and will always be, the responsibility of the Armenian people to see to it that Armenia’s genocide is known worldwide by its own government, as well as its very large Diaspora. The Armenians must publicize extensively the evilness of those who were “really responsible” for their systematic annihilation in 1915, and the stealing of their historical lands. It is the responsibility of Armenia’s populace, as well as the Diaspora, to be rid of unpatriotic oligarchs of Armenia and replace them with leaders imbued with patriotism – patriotism for strengthening the nation in all its aspects regardless of its size or untenable geographical location.

Armenia’s traitorous leaders have sold the nation’s assets for personal wealth (which was not theirs) to a point that the majority of its people live in abject poverty. The Armenian Government has sent their youth to secure other areas of the world. Sending members of Armenia’s forces into illegal wars in order to win favor of the west only infuriates the Arab world against Armenia. Is this the way to defend our fragile nation? Armenian soldiers should be defending Armenia, and only Armenia. How imbecilic can a government be?

What Does All This Mean? For years, Armenians worldwide have taken their eyes off the really true target – THE STRENGTHENING OF THE NATION. With strength, it would have been more effective publicizing to the world about the planned elimination of our people from their ancient soil in 1915. If Armenia’s leaders had thought more about strengthening our nation during the past 16 years, it would have been considerably more capable of making its potential enemies think twice before inflicting another genocide upon our people, such as in 1915. If the country of Armenia (god forbid) becomes non-existent, there will be little necessity to discuss genocide anymore.

ARMENPAC has created its blog to allow members a forum to express their unfiltered views on issues relating to the Armenian-American community. Although all blog posts are the opinions of the author, and not of ARMENPAC, we must be careful not to allow offensive content to be posted. It has come to my attention that some of the language in the post above was offensive, and I have edited it accordingly. Although ARMENPAC has adopted a broad policy against censoring its blog posts, we will try better to not allow offensive content to be posted and sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

I completely disagree with the almost every one of the writer's premises. America is not about world domination and it is America's concern to speak out and take action when genocide is suspected. Yes, our taxes are unfairly apportioned on the Middle Class and we have a very large budget deficit which is increasingly financed by China and other countries but our soveriegnty is secure. Futhermore, immigration (legal) has long been a part of contributing to the melting pot of America. Finally, I do not know enough about current or prior Armenian history to comment on the writer's contentions with respect to that country's history but I would be suspect given the overall tenor of the posting and, if elected, will seek policies which strengthen Armenian independence and prosperity without denying the same rights to others.

The larger question that is posed is: Should America have an isolationist policy with regard to Genocides? Apparently Mr Avakian believes so. Since the United Nations has proven itself to be totally ineffective and no longer,if ever, serves the function for which it was created, in my opinion, we,America, has a moral obligation to not put our heads in the sand and wait for someone else to stop genocides as they are happening.
